Today’s card falls into my “Mom! The Tarot’s mocking me” category again. You see there’s yet another personality kerfuffle in my world. Pretty much the same kerfuffler as always (which makes the kerfuffle super boring to me.) Once again accusations and insinuations are flying. Not one person has come to me to ask me why my name came up. LOL
Which tells me that my pulling the Tree from the Gaian Tarot was the perfect card for today. No one cares. No one gives a rat’s ass what the kerfuffler thinks. And yes, there is a part of me small enough to enjoy the hell out of that. See, I’ve been on the kerfuffler’s hitlist for about…oh, two or three years now.
As a dear friend of mine says, “still viable, fucker.” It’s really amusing to watch the kerfuffler’s antics even as it is sad. The kerfuffler is mentally unstable. Reminds me of a homeless man I saw yesterday. He was rocking out to an unheard beat. I said, “I hope where ever your head is, it’s a beautiful place.”
I wish the same for the kerfuffler…that they find a beautiful place where they don’t have to live such a scared life. It must be awful to fear the entire world is out to get you.
But darlings, the Tree is a reminder to support yourself. This is Joanna Powell Colbert’s vision of the Hanged Man. She hangs from a tree in the asana of the Tree. This pose,Vrkasana, is said to develop concentration, poise and awareness.
The Tree is the Universe’s reminder to me to keep to my own ways, my own path, my own focus. I don’t need to step into the kerfuffle any more than I am right this moment.
I’m far more interested in learning what will be. It was Galvanize last year. What do you think it will be? Do you have a word for your year to help you focus on your goals?
