How Do You Show Caring?

Gaian_6AirToday’s card reminds me of the importance of sharing and caring. It’s how I see a perfect world–where we all support one another and lend a hand or ask for help. I’ve asked for help recently and received it. I’ve been asked for help and given it. It’s something we should all practice.

One thing I don’t do enough here is to share others and their blogs. I read a ton of them. I participate in several blog sharing groups where I get to read some brilliant voices. These aren’t professional writers although some are. Most of them are just fellow humans walking a similar path. Some are pagan. Some aren’t. Some are liberals. Some aren’t. I wanted to share some of the ones that have recently moved me.

Recently I read something so profound. This woman is in the Leonie Dawson group that I love. Jacqueline Gates talks about overcoming a huge personal block here. It made me cry. I met Jacquie via the Amazing Biz+Life Academy. Just so you know, that’s an affiliate link of mine. I recommend that group to just about everyone I meet. You can join the full thing for $199 or check out one of the e-courses if you prefer. And she has free offerings as well.

I can’t remember how I found this blog but she makes me laugh. She’s currently taking a short break from blogging. This is the post that first introduced me to Awkwardly Alive And Pleasantly Peculiar’s writings.

It’s hard for me to pick just one of Sibylle’s posts so here’s a link to her whole blog. She’s a cool witch living over on the other side of the pond. I find her to be very uplifting!

I know you are thinking, “What about Tarot, Arwen. Isn’t this a Tarot blog?” Well, yes and no. I like to mix it up even though I am heavily on the Tarot side of things. Did you know I crochet? If you want to read a fabulous blog that mixes crochet, beautiful pictures and an amazing voice, go read Lucy at Attic 24! I’m extremely fond of her monthly mosaic posts. And while I’m on the crochet kick, don’t miss Planet June. She does these amazing amiguri patterns. I also enjoy her wildlife posts featuring critters from her own South African backyard.

Now about those Tarot blogs. I have so many I can’t share them all. A great daily Tarot blog is Chloe over at Inner Whispers. I love her daily draws. Plus she’s a total Tarot Enabler since she uses different decks every week. This post is an excellent example of what she does. She’s got her own deck in progress with Wil Worthington. Check out the Celtic Lenormand coming soon from U.S. Games!

Someone who doesn’t blog daily is Alison Cross. Her blog focuses on the court cards. And, since I love the Game of Thrones books, I love her blog name. She shares interviews with other Tarot folks as well. Ali is the past chairman of TABI. She recently interviewed the amazing Mary K. Greer.

Now for one last non-Tarot blog. This is from Halina, another member of the Amazing Biz+Life Academy. She shares about her own ideas on Inner Spring Cleaning which I just loved.

Rather than go on and on about the many Tarot blogs I love, I’ll stop there. I’d love to hear about your favorite blogs as well. How about leaving me a comment with a link to a blog you love. Since this post is about others, let’s share someone else’s blog instead of our own. 😀

What Path Do You Take?

StarRoadMap_Back001Today’s card is not the front but the back of an intriguing oracle deck from Schiffer. I just got it. The pack really appeals to me for all the things to see.

This is from the Star Road Map cards. Look at all the paths and places to go on this. Just on the back. The cards themselves are quite different so I’ll be playing with them a bit as I learn them.

I wanted to show you some other paths to take as well. Here are just a few of the blogs I read on a regular basis.

are just four of my current favorites.

Where do you like to wander when you are on the web? Share your favorite blog in the comments. Feel free to leave other Tarot blogs. 🙂 I’m not so silly that I think I’m the only one.

And ask yourself this question today.

What if your life’s purpose were simply to seek joy?

How hard would that be?

Check out this Divine Dreaming Meditation.

And don’t forget! If you want my Fairy Tale Tarot Spreads eBook, get this and then let me know so I can send you the link for the eBook.

Seek joy, y’all. Pass it on!

Visualize, Work & Radio Stars

I hope you will take advantage of this amazing opportunity to indulge in some Tarot meditations.

One of my respected Tarot colleagues, Carolyn Cushing, has been doing a series of guided visualizations. Due to inconvenient working hours (mine!), I was only able to participate in a few. She’s redoing some fo them now to offer them on a website. You can be a part of the process. Here’s her blog post from today. Continue reading “Visualize, Work & Radio Stars”

Other Blogs: Tarot Journey

You get the feeling you are reading someone’s private thoughts.

Only two months old, this blog shows great promise. Kathy, a New Jersey girl, starts off with the Fool. It’s a great card to start a Tarot blog with! As a new student of Tarot, I think she is doing an amazing job. Here is what she said in that first entry about drawing the Fool for her very first blog entry: Continue reading “Other Blogs: Tarot Journey”

Other Blogs: ATA Reflections

Ok, as you have seen, I have been doing other spots than blogs for my Saturday spotlights. 🙂 I’m keeping the name “Other Blogs” until I think of a more clever (and more encompassing) name.

Tarot publications are few and far between. It’s difficult to stay on schedule and deliver what you have said you will deliver when you have to manage your writers, your production, your readers, etc.  Continue reading “Other Blogs: ATA Reflections”

Other Blogs: Tarot & Pendulum Practice

Here is a young blog but one I read frequently. I met Jen on Twitter (yes, I adore Twitter). When I saw her post about her blog, I went by. I told her then I loved her blog and hoped that she kept it up.

Normally I wait for a blog to have an established archive etc. I have to share this one though. Tarot & Pendulum Practice is unique in that Jenn combines a pendulum reading with her tarot readings. Not every time but often. Continue reading “Other Blogs: Tarot & Pendulum Practice”
