Today I am reading for Edmund who is the hero of Berengaria Brown’s latest offering from Torque, Aquamarine: Courage & Comfort
Berengaria is a multi-published author of erotic romance ~ contemporary, paranormal (ghosts, vampires, werewolves) and Regency set historicals. She loves to read all different kinds of romance so that is what she writes: one man/one woman; two women; two men; two men one/woman: three men…Whatever the characters need for their very hot happily ever after, Berengaria makes sure they get it.
Now here is Edmund’s reading along with his responses.
Question 1. How do you see the people around you?
Well you see them as having everything you don’t have. There’s a bit of regret there, isn’t there, Edmund? What is that they have that you don’t? This card represents not just monetary wealth but community and family wealth.
I think maybe you are a bit lonely and feel that you can’t have all the good life has to offer. 9 of Earth
Edmund’s Response:
I haven’t got the time to chase after the good life right now. My widowed sister and her newborn son need my love and devotion. It’s tragic John was killed by that hit-run driver. His death has damaged Mavis and deprived John Jr. of ever knowing his father. Yeah likely I regret that it happened to MY sister, to MY family.
Question 2. How are you seen by the people around you?
Interesting in that this is another card of community. You do have some close friends, but like any Aquarian, you have the illusion of having a lot of friends when they really aren’t that close are they?
Those around you want to get in your inner circle, but why? What is it that you have that they want? Could it be some healing that you offer them? Be wary of too many offers of friendship. Not all of them are honest—with you or with themselves.
Edmund’s Response:
I don’t know why people would want to be with me. Likely they’re trying to get closer to Utah. He’s everything anyone could ever want in a partner.
Question 3. What is your most important goal?
Hmmm, this card points to your own wish to control the uncontrollable. There is some piece of you that changes. You may find that embracing that change is the best way to go. This is also your desire to see past the deception and illusion that keeps coming your way.
You need to learn to trust your gut again, I think.
Edmund’s Response: Yeah, when AJ told me that Utah and I had to together find the aquamarine to save Mavis, I was kinda skeptical. But we decided to give it a go. It’s heart-breaking to see Mavis as she is now, so devastated. If it’s up to me…well, yeah…gotta do my best, eh.
Question 4. Where do you get your strength from?
You are the driver of your life. Your strength comes from knowing where you’ve been and where you are going. It is that focus of will that has kept you alive and well.
The Canoe is the Chariot and it is the card of Cancer. There is also a connection to your roots—your foundation—the very ground you come from is important to you. Canoe
Edmund’s Response:
Ah, that’ll be where the beach enters the story. I do feel at home with the sand under my feet and swimming in the surf.
Question 5.Why do you want to be remembered?
As a first and fast responder? This card is about quick thought and passionate output. You may be one who likes to burn his bridges before you are even fully across.
There is a part of you that needs to be remembered for all the hearts that you have touched. You want to leave passion as your lasting love letter to this world.
Edmund’s Response:
Utah agreed to come help me find the aquamarine. AJ said we could do it as long as we were together. So we will.
