- Which do you prefer; sunrise or sunset?Let’s see. I love them both. I am a morning person, but I think I prefer sunset because it is a West thing and I am a water baby. And it signals the beginning of my quieter time of the day. When I can relax and not do so much.
- If you were a car, what kind of car would you be?Uh… hmmm. I don’t know. I guess one that runs! 🙂 Ok, if you are looking for brand names and models… a Saturn. I drive a Saturn, btw. I love the way Saturn dealerships take care of their customers and treat them as family.
- If you could change one thing about the world, what would you change? The desire of mankind to be “more” than the rest of mankind. That need to be on top. That need to have their way be the only way.
- If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?My quickness to judge others.
- If you could wake up tomorrow and go to work in the occupation of your choosing, what would you be doing?I would be writing novels.. fantasy and romance as well and perhaps a mixture of the two.
- If you opened a brand new box of crayola crayons, which colour would you take out first? (Please be more specific than “blue”)Periwinkle. I love that word. It is such a pretty blue-purple!
- If you could have lunch with anyone, living or dead, who would it be?Margaret Murray. I would want to know what of her research was fudged and what was real.
- What would you eat for that lunch?Steak and a huge salad with good things in it. No boring iceberg lettuce only! A good salad, for me, has romaine and iceberg and green onions or regular onions and tomatoes and cheese at the very least. Perfect would include marinated artichoke hearts and a dressing of balsamic vinegar and the artichoke oil with a bit of basil and maybe a spot of mustard. I think the way you make a salad speaks of your committment to what you are preparing.
- If you were a bird, what kind of bird would you be?Hee! I would be a Half-Moon Conure and then I would be BULLET-PROOF! I own two HMC’s and they are a delightful companion but they have this tendency to think they are bullet-proof. Tavi, my little girl, launches at anyone and anything and will land on the cat or dog. She is simply indestructible.
- If you were any kind of animal, other than a bird, what kind of animal would you be? And why?A Standard Poodle so that I could adore someone unreservedly and not be chastised for it.
- Which recording artist would you most like to talk to
about their life?Oddly enough, Caruso. One of the greatest recorded voices of all time… Or Joan Baez who wrote and sang the song about Caruso that started my obsession with him. - Which author would you most like to have
coffee/cappucino with?Nora Roberts… where does she get her great ideas! - If you could get on a plane tomorrow, and go anywhere
in the world, where would you go first?China to see the Great Wall. Every time I see it I feel this pull. I have always been fascinated with China and read Pearl S. Buck books voraciously as a child. - If you were a body of water, what body of water would
you be?The Black Sea if only so that I was near China and the Steppes. The Horde has also fascinated me for a long time. - If you died tomorrow, what would be your biggest regret? That I had no children.
- If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, and could make one phone call to someone other than family, who would you call?My best friend Cai. She is da bomb, baby. We have been friends since 1976 and remain as close as ever. Now that we have email, we talk almost as much as we used to as well. Which is a detriment to work sometimes, but both of us make sure work gets done.
- What is your favorite way to spend time alone?Reading a good book! I like to escape into them.
- Which of the following elements best describes you:
earth, air, fire, or water?Easy! Water water water! I flow. I drip. I rage. I am water. - Which comic strip/ cartoon character is most like you?Hmmm… I think maybe Rose Is Rose. She has this quirky cat whom she interacts with and I just see Carmen and I in them. Thanks to my lover, ursus98 for helping me find them again.
- What do you like most about yourself? My sense of fun. It keeps me young and most of my friends are surprised when they learn how old I am. I like to shake things up.
- What is the oldest article of clothing that you own
and why do you still have it?Oh… my big brown sweater that Mama bought for me when I was heading off to college. It is comfortable, warm, and goes with anything! I still have it because my mother knows quality clothing when she sees it. It is absolutely sturdy! - If your house was on fire, what is the one thing
(excluding family, pets, and photographs) that you would try to save?My Harddrive. LOL! Seriously.. it has so much of me on it that I would be devastated to lose it. My poetry, much of my BOS, my thoughts, my hopes, my prayers, my dreams, my tears… all exist on that HD. Hmmm, time to do another CD! grin! - What is your favorite quotation?“The day I stop learning is the day I start dying” ~Stephanie Lynch If I need one by someone else then I have always been fond of “You could infuriate a rock” by Socrates

versions)Why not Disney? Ok, the one about the princess who lived on the glass hill - Describe yourself with one word.Dragonfly
