Other Blogs: Lucy D’s Only Tarot

Come with me to the intriguing world of LLucyD. I met Lucy on Twitter. I was probably doing a search for Tarot to see who else was on. I found this fun icon of a beautiful spirit with simply a stunning smile. I followed based on that. Great smile, winning energy, tarot. HEY! What’s wrong with that, y’all?

Then I headed over to her blog. Today’s entry made me realize I needed to spotlight her blog for y’all. Her voice is what grabs me and keeps me reading. She’s incredibly self-aware.

From September 4, 2008: I even thought to myself that maybe I could learn to do what they do – just to help myself…and I tried. I bought myself some tarot cards and a book. I dragged my friends into my living room and tortured them with my stilted attempts at “seeing behind the curtain” of their lives.

Funny, whimsical and oh so very very real isn’t it? And she’s profound quite often. Or at least it speaks to me. One entry found her giving this pithy definition of the Tarot.

From August 8, 2008And the Tarot is a wonderful means for remembering and joining and forgiving ourselves and each other. This is the purpose of the Tarot, plain and simple.

Now Lucy’s blog “Only Tarot” is a rather new addition to the fun that is the tarot blogosphere. She started in May 2008. I hope you will traipse over to her place and check it out for yourself. I think you will enjoy the diversity that is Lucy. I know I do. And I find myself heading back to reread some of the older posts. Superb blog!

Visit and tell her I sent you! Only Tarot is this way.
