So I just watched last night’s American Idol. So disappointed to see two of my favorites go. I know this is where it starts hurting more because I’ve invested emotions in these singers. I was heartbroken over one and understood the other. Here is what I said in my original post about both of them.
Andrew Garcia gets the King of Coins. Nice to see him get this card because I really like the way he sounds. This says that while Andrew may not win, he will achieve success from his appearance on American Idol. The problem with the King of Coins is that he can be too stodgy and tends to play things a little too safe.(UPDATE:Voted off 4/14/2010)
Katie Stevens gets the Wheel of Fortune. Hmm, like I said last year, this card represents HUGE opportunity but Katie is going to have to reach for it. It won’t be easy. She is going to have to stretch. But I do think this bodes very well for this talented young lady.(Update: Voted off 4/14/2010)
Of the two, I was really really surprised by Katie Stevens getting voted off. Shocked actually.
Today’s card is the 6 of Air. Traditionally this card shows someone leaving somewhere. They’ve obviously been on a long journey to get to this point. Often I see sadness in this card because of the fact that even when you leave troubled times, there is still emotional attachment. However, in this 6 of Air, we see six people of varying sizes (thanks for that Joanna!), races and age. They are doing yoga or Tai Chi or maybe just some group movement/meditation. There is a drummer in the back whose hands seem to be beating a heartbeat to me. I can’t imagine that the drum is doing anything more than a slow ba-dum, ba-dum. Some of the figures are familiar to me. The kneeling black man in the middle has to be the Guardian of Fire, I think. THe woman in the front looks like the Guardian of Water as well. One of the other women looks like she was part of the Three of Earth. They are all welcoming something. Now I think it may be a Circle and they are welcoming the Guardians of the East, Elements of Air. A robin has just hopped into the card (bottom left). This harbringer of spring is a welcome sign to many of us. Above left three birds (falcolns perhaps?) wheel and dive in a grey sky. The sun is rising outside of this card to the right (stage left).
Such a welcoming card this six of Air. I am reminded to be prayerful and thankful and grateful for all things in my life. I am reminded that how I move in this world mentally affects me physically. The more gratitude I express the better I feel all over. And no matter what I look like, it is what is inside that is what counts.
What are you truly grateful for?
P.S. Today is the last day to take advantage of the early bird special for my 5 Week Online class to learn the Tarot with me. Plus I only have a few more seats left.
