It’s the Litha Tarot Blog Hop, Y’all!

Our wrangler, Morgan, gave us the task of making a card. He suggested we use junk mail. Well, I didn’t follow the rules because I didn’t manage my time well. πŸ˜€ But I am going to use one of the variations.

Before diving into that, I’d like to invite you to check out a collaborative book I’m part of. Today is release day. It’s 365 Moments of Grace.

I use Zentangle as a meditative practice. I don’t set out with anything in mind when I tangle but the end results often remind me of a Tarot card. It’s an interesting exercise for me to “see” something in the artwork.

So what I want to do is offer a few of my tangle pieces here and have YOU tell me what you see. [inlinetweet prefix=”” tweeter=”TarotByArwen” suffix=”tarotbloghop”]What card comes to mind with these images for you?[/inlinetweet]

I also wrote an article for Witches And Pagans about how Zentangle made me a better psychic.

So what do these images bring to your mind? Once you’ve answered that question, it’s time to hop along to the next blog in this Tarot Blog Hop.

  1. Really love the images but I alternate between what major or minor cards I think they represent. This may require return visits and most like another comment or two πŸ™‚ I do love a challenge :-))

  2. Ok, I’ll play.
    1. Thoth 4 of Wands
    2. RWS 6 of Swords
    3. RWS inspired 9 of Pents
    4. 2 of Pents

I always get inspired to try Zentangling when I see your images! It looks like fun and so creative.

  3. Aaaw, they are very deep – and beautiful! I have just been thinking of getting the Hidden Waters Tarot, something similarly intuitive, based on Rorschach test pictures. Yours are a lot more soothing! πŸ™‚ The last one is 3 of Coins for me, above it 10 of Coins, above it Ace of Cups, and the one on the top is 4 of Swords. Beautiful ones, congratulations on your artwork, Arwen, and let us know when you are ready with the rest! πŸ™‚ Brilliant ones, indeed!

  4. First one is the Chariot or possibly the Wheel of Fortune. πŸ˜€ the rest are too abstract for this Queen of Pentacles lol

  5. Your first Zentangle is a perfect Star, and gives me the image of centered reflection…in the second one, I see the Chariot, a large ship voyaging into unknown spaces but learning in the journey…and I landed in the center of the final one and was looking at both sides…this? or this? and it was Judgment day…Think I need to begin to Tangle myself! Thank you!

  6. After some deliberation, and on the proviso that I keep the right to change my mind, I’ll go for: 4 of Wands, Strength, 3 of Wands and 2 of Pentacles πŸ˜€ Lovely pieces, Arwen!
