Frank Fradella's Adventure Tarot deck shows us the King of Blades as a bluff blonde man who is obviously a Norseman. He has a horned helmet and a braid coming down from under his helmet. He is in armor and sits upon a throne of ice. His immense battle axe rests under his right arm as he gazes straight at you.
This man takes no bull. He is a man of action and doesn't want to hear your excues. He wants to know why you haven't gotten things done. He may be seated upon this regal chair, but he is ready to go into battle at a moment's notice. He will judge things against his own strong beliefs, but we know this King is fair in all things. He can see both sides so well that he can argue either side. This King loves his family treating them with love and kindness even being playful. But take heed - if you screw up according to his ideals, he will be unforgiving. His ideals are high and he will do whatever it takes to stand firm to them. He expects those around him to believe as he believes as well. Those that don't will disappoint their King.
What are you putting off that you could be doing? What are you ignoring in your life? Procrastination may be your own fear of success. Think about what you could accomplish in your life if you started marking things off your own "To Do" list. Grab the King of Blades energy and brainstorm a solution to your problem. Think out of the box for this one.
Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried. Author Unknown
A "grave" quote, if you will forgive me the terrible pun, points out that we harm ourselves by not taking action.
