I’ve been in a pissy mood. I was going to change that to cranky, but that would not be correct. Pissy is, to me, being angry about petty, little non-events. And then sharing that with others whether they like it nor not. So what is that about?

Part of it is my underlying (more…)

Fear.

Fear is such a funny beast, isn’t it? Causes us to do things we might not normally do like tear all our clothes off at a picnic because a bee flew in our sleeve. No I haven’t done that, but I have woken up approximately three counties worth of people with my screams at seeing a scorpion in my home.

Fear of not being enough can manifest, I think, as (more…)

In the world of randomness, I am an avid dumpster diver particularly on “move in/out” weekends. This weekend scored me a really nice vanity mirror with no frame but in perfect condition. I gave that to a particularly crafty friend who already has grand ideas for it.

Then today I noticed what looked like (more…)

If you saw my Thursday post, you will know that I simply adore Lissa Coffey’s work. She sends out daily emails that you can (and should) subscribe to. I love getting them.

She’s also trying to get a show on Oprah’s new network. I think she’d be a great addition. I know I’d tape her show for sure. You can vote for her here. You do have to register, but I’d really appreciate it if you would vote daily and spread the word as well. See the Thursday post for details on how to win this reading from me.

She sent out an email 6/23/2010 that was a bit different from her normal ones. This one was longer that most. I’ve read it several times. It hit me so deeply that I’ve designed a spread around it. (more…)

Doctor In Petticoats by Paty JagerThis character reading is for Paty Jager’s hero, Clay Halsey. He’s a Taurus and takes a leading role in Jager’s latest historical western. I really enjoyed Clay. I think you’ll find him to be a very different kind of hero.

Paty Jager is published by The Wild Rose Press. Doctor In Petticoats is book four in the Halsey Brothers series. She lives on a 350 acre ranch. Between wrangling three dogs, two horses, and fifty mother cows, she claims to lead a busier life than when she was parenting her kids. But she does find time to write. So come meet Clay, one of five Halsey boys. His choices in life have harmed (more…)

I NEED HELP!!!!

I have a friend. Okay, so she’s not really MY friend, but I feel like she is. She is Lissa Coffey, author and emailer. It’s her emails that get me on a daily basis. I often forward them to friends encouraging them to subscribe as well.

She styles herself as a relationship expert, but it’s so much more than that. Her emails talk about how to have a relationship with yourself, the world and beyond. I think she should be called an interpersonal communicator diva, myself. Plus she’s my age which means she’s an Ox (most likely). I like oxen people!

She is auditioning to get a TV show slot on Oprah’s next network. I think she’d be groovy! I know I’d set my DVR to tape every episode. Her website is Coffey Talk which will be the name of her show if she wins. And that’s where you come in. (more…)

So the latest edition of BellaOnline Mused is out. I have two pieces in this one. I’m always so proud when I am accepted to this endeavor. I love much of the other works (particularly the photography) and am often inspired by them. That happened with this one. I saw a series of zoo animal photographs. One of them was an intense vulture. I looked at that bird thinking “but vultures are supposed to be ugly.” The response in my head was (more…)

I’m involved in an online community. I know. I hear the gasps of surprise and shock now. snort

This one is for those who have Joanna Powell Colbert’s Gaian Tarot. (There are copies left if you want to join us.) We have spent four weeks studying the Seeker and have just completed the first round on the Magician. One question that arose from the Seeker study was this:

“What threshold am I standing on?” (more…)

So it’s June already. Are you ready for Summer (or Winter if you are on the other side of the world)? Are you doing anything fun? Hope you enjoy this month’s Tarotscopes. Some of you need to be on the look out for love while others need to come out of your caves. And there’s a huge lesson about generosity as well.

Leave me a comment, please.

Remember that Marilu Mann has a new book out called Sex And Trouble. You can read an excerpt here. Or you can go here to read a different excerpt.

You can listen to the June Tarotscopes here.
