I think Lucius was a bit intimidated by how close you read him. He probably hides behind his warrior image as a way of protecting himself (not just the person he feels he needs to protect). Very interesting reading. t

Thanks to Arwen for suggesting this--it really was a lot of fun. Of course, Luke was a bit reluctant, but I talked him into it :)

I love books. Specially free books. lol

This sounds like a good book. I know many people are tired of the whole vampire genre but I have been reading that genre for years.
Like the idea of using tarot cards for the character!

This is my first time to listen to your Tarotscope. I wanted to let you know I enjoyed it. I'm a Sagittarus and found it interesting that the Ace of Water was pulled. I am currently in a relationship, but I feel as if sometimes I do hold back. So I take it that September will be for exploring my emotions within this relationship and jump in and swim with enjoyment.

Thanks again,
Cher

Hi, Arwen,

I have to say, yours is the only blog I ever read regularly. Sure, I may get sent a link and read one entry from someone, but yours is the one that brings insight, laughter, and thought provoking ideas to my life. I adore you for the wonderful. caring person you are.

I am so sorry to hear about your beloved Carmen. Waiting for Death to arrive is never easy. Never. Our loved ones may go off to the big kitty litter box in the sky, but having that emptiness that they filled for so long gone, is devastating. I feel for you. (One of my friends took her dog to the vet last Thursday, hoping that the regular dose of meds would help, didn't. She didn't get to bring her dog home--they had to put her to sleep. She lost her friend of twelve years. It is like losing a child.)

On the other hand, how very thankful I am that you have a thoughtful stepson to comfort your kitty when you're gone. And when you're gone, living and loving in the moment of those of a like mind. How often can we say we find that?

My thoughts are with you. Blessings to you and your family at this time of sadness.

Karen

p.s. I love the Next Food Network Star--and watched every episode. I knew from the beginning Aarti was going to win. She just has "it." The only thing I don't like about her recipies is the million ingredients. However, I do love Indian food. I just had no idea that there was so much involved in making it taste so good. I also didn't know they heat their spices up in oil before putting them with the other ingredients. She said it really releases the essence of the spice. You'll love the show! She has a million tips and lots of ideas on how to infuse Indian flavor in good 'ol American food.

For a fellow foodie...I'm surprised you are not addicted to that channel. There are very few people I don't like watching. I print off the recipes I want to try, then I make them. The kids weigh in if they like it or not--we keep the recipe or throw it in the recycle bin. After all, it's just one meal. :-)
