It’s Saturday! Let’s go check out some other Tarot readers’ blogs.
Today we are going to visit the Tarot Dame.
If you like to see cards from various decks, do check out The Tarot Dame. Every day she pulls two cards. The decks vary but she sticks to one deck each week so you can really get a taste of the artwork. Recent weeks have featured the ever-popular Robin Wood Tarot, the lesser known Sakki-Sakki Tarot, and the unusual Osho Zen Tarot.
What I like most about Tarot Dame’s blog are being able to see the various decks. It is like sitting down with a fellow consultant to see what decks she has. Her insights into each card are fascinating as well. She doesn’t give generic verbiage for each card. She tells you how it interacts with her life right here and right now.
The writing style is personable and approachable. You really do get the impression that Tarot Dame would be great fun to chat with over a cup of coffee.
From her May 25th entry:
Today I have a list a mile long of things I need to get done. It’s a day full of give, give, give, and I don’t know if I’ll have a chance to take some time for myself. But it seems that when all I’ve given of myself today has been taken by others, when all is said and done, there just might be a “knight” who will deliver me a blessing. That makes the day a little brighter, having something nice to look forward to.
From her May 12th entry:
This won’t be just any old idea though, since the idea comes from the Devil. But it doesn’t have to be an evil, maniacal plot either. The Devil has raw, unbridled passion. I think an idea will come to me which may be all-encompassing… it won’t be a fleeting thought. It will be something that will propel me to take bold action, and I’m likely to be so swept up in the idea that it will almost feel as though I don’t have a choice in the matter but to follow through. This duo of cards has me very intrigued today.
Add to her daily draws the less frequent posts about other Tarot subjects and her weekly summations of the week’s draws and you have a really well done Tarot blog that entertains as well as teaches. It is obvious that she loves Tarot. She weaves in bits about her children along with their interactions/reactions to the Tarot and life in general, too. I know it is one of the blogs I look forward to each day. I hope you will find it as entertaining as I did.
